About Us
Frontier Psychiatry was created in 2019 by passionate psychiatrists who believe that every community deserves access to great psychiatric care. We feel that smaller, underserved communities are often overlooked or overcharged by larger telepsychiatry companies looking to grow their business quickly. We know that one-size-fits-all telepsychiatry does not work. As a result, we decided to launch Frontier Psychiatry by collaborating with healthcare organizations in rural states, starting with Montana, working with local partners to assess and overcome regional barriers to care. Job Description Frontier Psychiatry is a Montana-based fully virtual clinic. We offer 24/7 crisis mental health assessments in 12 emergency rooms across Montana. We are looking for an independently licensed clinician who will conduct initial risk assessments to determine the patient's risk to self and others and to assess their overall needs. Depending on the outcome of this assessment, a plan will be implemented. This may include meeting with one of our psychiatrists for assessment and services, referrals to counseling or other services, or coordinating placement to a higher level of care We are looking to recruit a qualified and competent mental health professional to join our team who shares our vision of making quality mental health accessible to all Montanans. This clinician will play a vital role in providing quality mental health services to patients as well as reducing avoidable readmission to emergency rooms. We Offer
