Colby is a Psychiatric Physician Assistant with experience treating patients of all ages, from 4 to 75. He graduated from NC State University with a Bachelors in Human Biology, and completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Practice at Campbell University. He is particularly passionate about teen and adolescent psychiatry, as he feels this patient population is significantly underserved and oftentimes are suffering from very significant mental health issues that are disregarded or overlooked.

Colby is from North Carolina, about 30 minutes north of Asheville, and having grown up in a very rural environment himself, he understands and empathizes with the mental health needs of Frontier patients. He aims to treat not only the acute problem that a patient is dealing with, but also hopes to get to know them on a personal level and build a strong relationship with every patient moving forward.

When he is not treating patients, Colby enjoys exercising at the gym as he feels this is one of the best ways to improve his own mental health, as well as taking care of his dog Maple, going for walks and hikes, and catching up with friends when able.
