About Us
Frontier Psychiatry was created in 2019 by passionate psychiatrists who believe that every community deserves access to great psychiatric care. We feel that smaller, underserved communities are often overlooked or overcharged by larger telepsychiatry companies looking to grow their business quickly. We know that one-size-fits-all telepsychiatry does not work. As a result, we decided to launch Frontier Psychiatry by collaborating with healthcare organizations in rural states, starting with Montana, working with local partners to assess and overcome regional barriers to care. Depending on the outcome of this assessment, a plan will be implemented. This may include meeting with one of our psychiatrists for assessment and services, referrals to counseling or other services, or coordinating placement to a higher level of care We are looking to recruit a qualified and competent mental health professional to join our team who shares our vision of making quality mental health accessible to all Montanans. This clinician will play a vital role in providing quality mental health services to patients as well as reducing avoidable readmission to emergency rooms. We Offer

Hear two of Frontier Psychiatry's co-founders, Dr. Eric Arzubi and Dr. Reza Hosseini Ghomi, discuss how telemedicine is paving inroads for mental health care in rural Montana. Founded in 2007, Passages is women's community-based correctional facility operating three separate units: 1) inpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment (ADT), 2) Acute Mental Health care, and 3) a prerelease unit. Alternatives Inc. partners with Frontier Psychiatry to provide high quality psychiatric care to their clients and community. When asked about this partnership, Chelsey Duenow, Pre-Release Treatment Coordinator stated, "At Alternatives Inc. we have been so thankful for this partnership that has granted our clients access and outstanding psychiatric care in an impressively quick process. Our residents have always struggled with access to community psychiatric care and in the past might be faced with the crisis of running out of medications before they could be seen by someone in the community on a waiting list that was months long. The telehealth platform allows for individuals with limited mobility or other restrictions to receive care and saves time. We are able to have new and existing patients seen in a matter of days." Frontier psychiatry believes the only way to address the current mental health crisis in Montana is by creating a rich network of mental health partners throughout the state. We are stronger when we work together: "From the start of our partnership, the team at Frontier has been willing to collaborate with us and improve systems to create an effective system for serving our clients. The providers are easy to work with and treat us as partners and our patients with high regard and a spirit of collaboration." Together, we are accelerating access to quality care throughout Montana, "We are so thankful that our patients are able to have a provider that they can access as they leave Passages and return home to areas lacking access to care. Our residents continue to report how respected they feel and how easy the process is. Frontier is a champion for mental health by creating accessible pathways and excellent care in an effective framework. Thank you Frontier for creating this bridge to wellness for our residents."
