Frontier Psychiatry was created in 2019 by passionate psychiatrists who believe that every community deserves access to great psychiatric care and addiction care.
Frontier Psychiatry addresses mental health disparities in Northwest states like Montana, where suicide rates are highest. We collaborate with local partners to overcome barriers to care and focus on underserved communities, including Veterans and Native Americans. Our approach involves tailored telepsychiatry services acknowledging the shortcomings of one-size-fits-all solutions. We also provide specialized training for future psychiatrists to ensure quality virtual clinical care. Rural areas face unique challenges in mental health and addiction care access, including availability, accessibility, and acceptability of services. Frontier Psychiatry is dedicated to tackling these obstacles in our mission.
