Jasmine is a mother of 4 and a practicing PA-C from Utah. Prior to graduate school, she worked several years in psych hospitals doing autism behavioral therapy as she studied Psychology at BYU. She then attended PA school at Rocky Vista University in Colorado and was originally certified in 2021. She has been practicing outpatient/residential psychiatry for adults for the last 5 years at a company in Utah before moving to Frontier Psychiatry. In addition to practicing outpatient psychiatry with Frontier, she now also teaches part-time at the University of Utah PA program, and hopes to be part of the effort to improve psychiatric education. Her experience over the last 5 years largely lies in treating severe/persistent mental illness including Schizophrenia, Bipolar, and depression/anxiety, though she has seen a great deal of ADHD and other disorders as well. She feels strongly that a multimodal approach to treating mental illness, incorporating therapy/holistic wellness, is the best approach to true healing. She has personal interest and experience with dissociative disorders as well as symptoms/struggles with Narcissistic abuse. She is always trying to learn new ways to better improve mental health outcomes, and hopes to be a part of the healing journey for whoever she comes in contact with.
