Megan Verlage, MD

Dr. Verlage completed her residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, with a specialized focus on Women’s Mental Health. During residency she received awards both for teaching and for patient case formulation. After residency she stayed on as an Assistant Professor and worked as an Emergency Psychiatrist at Parkland Memorial Hospital, the busiest emergency department in the country. Dr. Verlage has a particular interest in the psychiatric needs of women before, during and after pregnancy, and the importance of understanding how treatment options can affect both a mother and her baby.
