Wanda Samake, NP

Wanda Samake is dually board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner. She has 30 years of nursing experience in various areas with 22 years as a nurse practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, she has a diverse clinical background and specializations including primary care, neurology, and psychiatry (child, adolescent, and adult). She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science Degree both from Clemson University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Lastly, she earned her Post Master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Regis College. Wanda uses a patient centered collaborative approach to care. She believes psychiatric care should be individualized to meet the specific needs of each patient. She understands how challenging it can be to access mental health care services when needed. Being part of the Frontier team gives her the opportunity to reach beyond barriers to care and serve more patients via the telehealth platform.
